About Hooked On Fairhope
Hooked on Fairhope is a community-driven children’s fishing tournament held annually on the Fairhope Pier. Our mission is to introduce children to the joy of fishing while strengthening family bonds, encouraging mentorship, and fostering respect for our
coastal environment.
Through a fun, inclusive, and well-organized event, we aim to build confidence, character, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors connecting the next generation to the water, to one another, and to the traditions that make our region special.
The Vision
We envision a local community where every child has access to meaningful outdoor experiences, positive role models, and opportunities to build confidence through community traditions. Hooked on Fairhope strives to become a cherished annual event
that families return to year after year—one that strengthens our community, supports youth-focused causes, and helps preserve the waters that define life on Mobile Bay.
Proceeds from the Tournament benefit Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation (FEEF) as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast.

Fairhope’s public schools are filled with promise and with your support and investment FEEF can offer more innovative programs and educational initiatives while providing more hands-on classroom experiences.
Founded by parents, educators, and community leaders, FEEF has grown into the largest private supporter of public education in Fairhope. We invest in programs that bring classrooms to life—like marine science labs, art installations, hands-on STEAM experiences, and teacher grants that spark imagination and innovation.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast is the leading one-to-one mentoring organization in south Alabama and Mississippi. Each year, we serve more than 600 children and positively impact over 1,800 individuals across nine counties.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Because of the generosity of local individuals and businesses, we're able to offer our services for free to those we serve.
